The ASHI Business Development Department (BDD) team proudly participated in the AECA Learning Forum 2025, held on May 26–27 at the First Pacific Leadership Academy in Antipolo City. Organized by the Jollibee Group Foundation in collaboration with Xavier University, this year’s forum carried the inspiring theme: “Cultivating Commitments and Fostering Connections.”
The two-day event brought together various stakeholders from across the country who share a unified vision—empowering smallholder farmers through sustainable agro-enterprise development. It served as a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and renewed commitment to strengthening the Agro-Enterprise Clustering Approach (AECA).
One of the forum’s highlights was the recognition of the newest AECA graduates:
Mr. Alex Sarona
Ms. Lian Kay Flores
Ms. Elizabeth Diana
In addition, Mr. Angel Dorado was honored as one of this year’s AECA Fellows, acknowledged for his outstanding dedication and contributions to the program.
The AECA approach continues to play a vital role in building sustainable agricultural systems by fostering strong partnerships among farmers, local institutions, and private sector players. Events like the AECA Learning Forum not only celebrate progress but also inspire deeper collaboration in support of Filipino farmers.
ASHI is honored to be part of this transformative movement and remains committed to helping build resilient communities through agro-enterprise and inclusive growth.
