Pililla Rizal, May 22, 2025 — A highly productive Cassava Livelihood Training was successfully conducted on May 22 for the ASHI Women-Entrepreneurs from the Laguna East and Laguna Sta. Maria-Mabitac branches. The event was organized through the support and expertise of the Agricultural Research and Extension Service of the Department of Agriculture Region IV-A.
The training provided participants with practical knowledge and hands-on skills in cassava production and processing, helping them explore the crop as a sustainable source of income and food security. It served as a vital opportunity for women in the community to gain confidence, enhance their entrepreneurial capabilities, and work toward greater economic resilience.
ASHI expressed deep appreciation to the Department of Agriculture Region IV-A for their continued commitment to community development. Their support plays a crucial role in empowering women and strengthening livelihood programs at the grassroots level.
Through partnerships like these, women entrepreneurs are not only equipped with skills but are also inspired to create lasting change within their communities.
