ASHI Brings Eye Care Services Closer to Members, Staff, and Their Families

From August 27–29, 2026, Ahon sa Hirap, Inc. (ASHI), through its Members Community Department, organized an Eye Check-Up Program in partnership with volunteer specialized eye doctors. The three-day activity was held at the ASHI Head Office in Pililla, Rizal.
The program was participated in by 13 ASHI branches: QNB, QRB, LNB, LSMB, RNEB, RTEB, REB, RJB, RWB, RCAB, RSWB, RSB, and RCB. The beneficiaries included ASHI members, staff, and their families, providing them with access to essential eye care services.
A total of 266 patients underwent eye consultations and assessments. Among those assessed, 31 patients were identified with pterygium, while 43 patients were diagnosed with cataract. Following the medical assessment, these patients underwent the necessary eye surgery to address their respective conditions.

The successful conduct of the program demonstrates ASHI’s continuing commitment to promoting the health, well-being, and quality of life of its members, employees, and their families.
Through collaboration with volunteer medical professionals, ASHI continues to bring essential healthcare services closer to the communities it serves. Through initiatives like this, ASHI continues to care beyond livelihood—helping its people see better, live healthier, and look forward to a brighter future.
